Crestor 10 mg
Crestor 20 mg
Crestor (Rosuvastatin Calcium)

Crestor belongs to a class of medicines called “statins,” which are used to lower your cholesterol when a low-fat diet is not enough. Crestor lowers your total cholesterol and the “bad” low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, thereby helping to slow the hardening of your arteries, lower your risk of a heart attack or stroke, or the need for procedures to restore the blood flow back to the heart or to another part of the body.

Taking Crestor is not a substitute for following a healthy low-fat and low-cholesterol diet and exercising to lower your cholesterol. Do not take Crestor if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Crestor can cause muscle pain, tenderness, weakness, fatigue, loss of appetite, right upper abdominal discomfort, dark urine, or yellowing of your skin or whites of your eyes. Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these symptoms.
