Exforge (Amlodipine/Valsartan)

Exforge is a combination medicine used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure and lower the risk of stroke or heart attack. Exforge contains two medicines: amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker) and valsartan (an angiotensin receptor blocker).

If you become pregnant while you are taking Exforge, stop taking it and call your doctor right away. Exforge can harm your unborn baby, causing injury or even death. Low blood pressure can occur with Exforge and cause you to feel faint or dizzy. Lie down if you feel faint or dizzy, and call your doctor right away. If you experience chest pain that gets worse, or that does not go away during treatment with Exforge, get medical help right away.
